You cannot see it with the naked eye, but electro pollution is real. Also known as electrosmog, it is a high environmental risk that exposes humans to harmful, manmade and unnatural electromagnetic field and frequency (EMF) radiation.
“This type of ‘smoke’ is emitted by computers, mobile phones, cell phone masts and everyday devices such as microwave ovens and can cause serious harm to our body and brain,” says Dr Marlena Kruger, Integrated Wellness Practitioner and Techno-life coach, and founder of the TechnoLife Wise Foundation. “Research has shown that auto-immune diseases and other related illnesses such as cancers and infertility are on the increase and the reason for this is our over-exposure to radiation, including 3G, 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi and techno-gadgets as part of the Internet of Things (IoT).
“In 2013 and again in 2019, two major international insurance companies Lloyds and SwissRe have already warned that ‘growing concerns of the health implications of 5G may lead to political friction and delay of implementation, and to liability claims’ and ‘as the biological effects of EMF in general and 5G in particular are still being debated, potential claims for health impairments may come with a long latency.’.”
Children are even more susceptible
According to Dr Kruger, with thinner skulls and small bodies children are especially vulnerable to electro pollution, which causes neurological and learning disorders such as electro hyper-sensitivity, electronic screen syndrome and ADHD. “We have bio-electrical bodies, because all the functions of our cells are electro-chemical in nature to generate life-giving energy. Manmade EMF radiation is also energy in wave form and does not only have a thermal effect on our bodies, but also a cumulative biological effect. Although you may not be aware of the direct impact today, it will most probably affect you in one or the other way in the next week, month or years to come!”
First ever Techno-impact Summit in South Africa
To raise awareness of the dangers of EMF, 22 September 2020 is International EMF Radiation Safety Day and on 26 September the next International 5G-protest Day. Coinciding with these two important days, the TechnoLife Wise Foundation will be hosting the first ever Techno-impact Virtual Summit: Humanity, Health and Happiness from 16 – 23 September 2020. The aim of the summit is to make young and old aware of the dangers of EMF and give valuable advice on how to live greener, less wasteful, more mindful, and slower while we carefully nurture ourselves and our natural environment amidst the opportunities and challenges of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
