If you need to work in a direct environment or the same room where the Wi-Fi router is installed, you can cover it with one shield by only putting it on top, or you can use more to build a “box” around it. The radiation emitted by the router will still be strong enough and work well.
NB! Note: 
If only you work near the router, you should use and plug in a network cable directly into the router box.
This will be a wise move and significantly reduce your EMF exposure.
